Every December, the Town of Oriental, NC marks the holiday season with a multiday celebration called 'The Spirit of Christmas'.  In 2015, a Christmas flotilla will again be a part of the annual Spirit of Christmas festivities. It will occur on Friday, December 11th.

Kayaks

Luminaria

Luminaria are a big part of the Spirit of Christmas tradition in Oriental. This year, the luminaria will line the streets on Friday night, December 11. First though they need to be made. That happens in the week leading up to Spirit of Christmas. Want to help? Contact Marsha Paplham (below).
